Office equipment and supplies that ReSource has placed have been used in activities that range from GED classes to sunday school classes and from board meetings to counseling sessions. We are constantly surprised and pleased by how many ways items we place are used to serve the community. Why would a business consider making an in-kind contribution?
Items which ReSource has placed over the years include office furniture, computer technology, office equipment, overstocks, building materials, kitchen/bathroom fixtures and cabinets, office supplies, personal care products and novelty items. The list goes on and on! While in-kind contributions are the engine that drives ReSource's success, support from foundations, grants, and individual donors serve the vital function of assuring that we can continue to provide goods to nonprofits for a fraction of their market value. ReSource has many donor levels.
Donors to ReSource receive recognition on a Donor Board seen by all member nonprofits and supporters who come to ReSource, as well as recognition our publications and any assistance necessary in publicizing your donation internally within your organization or with the public at large. Does your nonprofit need affordable, quality used furniture, office equipment, and other materials? Would you like to get these used-but-usable items at an average of 10% - 20% of the market value? To become a member of ReSource, an organization must be considered a 501(c)A(3) tax exempt organization, school or religious organization. An annual fee is required based on an organization's annual operating budget. For example, a nonprofit with an annual budget up to $100,000 pays $35, while an agency with a budget exceeding $5 million pays $135. Members may visit our warehouse and select the items needed for a small handling fee. ReSource is open weekdays, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Last checkout time is 4:15 p.m. Our hundreds of members can attest to the value they receive by being a member of ReSource. We work to keep quality merchandise in stock and available to our members, no matter what their individual mission may be. By saving money on equipment, nonprofits have more to spend on the vital mission of their organization. |
